CODM Pick'ems is a free, fan-made prediction game for Call of Duty: Mobile esports. This policy explains exactly what we store, why, and how you stay in control of it. We keep the data we collect to the minimum needed to run the game.
01What we collect+
Account details. Sign-in is handled by our authentication provider, Clerk. When you create an account we receive your email address, a username / display name, and an optional avatar. If you sign in with Google or Discord, we receive only the basic profile those services return — never your password.
Your predictions. The picks, series scores, and brackets you submit, plus the points and rankings calculated from them. This is the core of the game and is tied to your account. Finalized predictions and results are shown publicly on profiles and leaderboards. Unresolved live calls stay hidden until the match is final.
Feedback & push setup. We store feedback reports you submit, including an optional reply email. If you enable web push, we store the browser/device subscription data and its account association (when signed in) so you can manage the subscription and request a manual test delivery.
Usage & device data. Basic, mostly-anonymous logs — pages viewed, approximate region, browser type, and error reports — used to keep the site working. We do not build advertising profiles or sell any of this.
02How we use it+
We use your data only to run the game: to save your picks, score them, place you on leaderboards under your chosen display name, prevent cheating and abuse, and fix problems. Clerk handles your account email for sign-in and account administration; an email you voluntarily add to feedback is stored with that report for review. Push subscription data supports device registration and manual test delivery. We do not use email for result notifications, and automated slate, lock, and results push alerts are not live. We never sell your data or share it with advertisers.
03Analytics & cookies+
We use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics from our hosting provider (Vercel) to understand which pages get used — not to track you across the web. Essential cookies keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We don't use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, so there's no ad-tech following you around.
04How long we keep it+
We keep your account and predictions while your account is active, so your history and leaderboard standings stay intact. Server and error logs are kept for a short period (typically 30–90 days) and then deleted. When you delete your account, the account and public identity data are removed promptly; historical predictions and one deletion marker are retained as described below.
The deletion marker is retained indefinitely because it prevents the deleted account from recreating account-linked data. It is not shown publicly.
05Your rights+
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time. Most of this is self-serve in Settings — change your display name, export your pick history, or delete your account. Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR / CCPA regions) you may have additional rights. Send a request through our feedback page.
06Deleting your data+
Go to Settings → Delete my data. We remove your sign-in account, email, username, avatar, public profile, registered notification devices, and signed-in feedback. Historical predictions remain so past leaderboards and totals stay accurate, but they are moved to an anonymous replacement ID and displayed asDeleted player instead of your identity.
We also keep a durable, non-public deletion marker that maps the original Clerk account ID to the anonymous replacement ID. That internal mapping is retained indefinitely to make deletion retries consistent and prevent the deleted account from recreating account-linked data; it is not exposed on profiles, leaderboards, exports, or other public pages. For a deletion or privacy request, use our feedback page.
07Children+
CODM Pick'ems isn't directed at children under 13 (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country, whichever is higher). If you believe a child has created an account, contact us through our feedback page, and we'll remove it.
08Changes & contact+
If we make material changes, we'll update the date above. This policy works alongside our Terms of Service. Questions about privacy? Send them through our feedback page.
